Here is my hobbit picture.

If I have to choose a name, I suppose Fungo will do. He was named for the itch in his toes, which of course he was born with. Poor guy.

Awesome! I have that picture in my Basic Dnd book!

Btw...perhaps the druid can whip up an ointment for that fungus!

Here is a map of the area you are travelling.

I have also put a copy of this in the Maps thread.

Ok, the party is at the edge of the Forest of Nye. Couple things you should know....

The horse and cart can't go in...horse, yes, but difficult. Cart, no.

You don't know if a rowan tree will be 1 mile away or 10 miles away.

There is some type of settlement to the west...woodsmoke is visible.

Sounds of hunters to the north, northeast. You can hear the baying of dogs and a hunter's horn.

Perhaps the horse can be left unattended or one or more persons may stay behind [splitting up the group].

I will post something later tonight based upon any posts by players.

Roger looks into the forest and thinks about how nice a shrubbery might look in there.. one with a little path down the middle... Yes that would be strangely fitting.
I never thought Monty Python the Holy Grail would be suitable for an actual D&D game, but you have proven me wrong. Well played. And true to Monty Python humor, too! Bonus points. :D
