Background: Franz has found a new calling as talented herbal healer and novice cleric after recovering from the riding injury that shattered his leg and his dreams of becoming a knight.

Franz walks with a noticeable limp. His right leg was crushed when a warhorse he was riding fell upon him. Franz was spent over a year recuperating with the help of a trained healer. Sister Erwine of the Blessed Sisters of St. Rendu was Franz's inspiration not to give up hope. Although his strength was also greatly diminished, the young warrior lived. He made a vow to dedicate his life to the Divine Light and help those in need with healing and shield.

Background: Ember had planned to become a scout for her forest-village garrison, however a mishap involving a magical portal in a lightning-struck oak put an end to that, when she emerged with new powers she needed to learn to control!
