Hi Wouter,
Certainly, that would be a good thing. I apologize for letting the pace grind to a halt. Let's continue and see what happens.
Also, I am going to simplify the rules and character creation. I think I've add too much information and I'd like to scale that back a bit.
Do you have any objections if we switch to Whitebox rules? I will still have some interesting options, but making the switch may help me to get this going.
Let me know your thoughts.

Re: OOC Chat
Sounds good: though I personally wasn't overwhelmed by the process of character creation and the options available I do see your point. I'll get back to you when I will have some sort of advertisement post prepared.
Re: OOC Chat
I guess I'm in a Whitebox frame of mind right now. I'm going to modify the house rules a bit and we will fly under the Whitebox Banner!
Re: OOC Chat
Current XP totals are on your sheets now.
Also, the split of treasure amounts to approximately...
(each of you receives)... 200 pieces of silver...(I converted the two gems into silver and included it.)
Remember we are on the silver standard...all prices in rule book are converted from gold to silver.

Re: OOC Chat
Enemies killed or defeated and people saved thus far...
Three shambling zombies in the town of Wickersham
One hill giant dispatched in the forests to the east
Two children rescued from the hungry giant...Hooray!
Eleven guards defeated in the battle at Harkbone
Forty-four villagers rescued...Huzzah!
One fire zombie extinguished on the King's Road just east of Wickersham
Twelve of Lord Dunsley's men vanquished at Dunsley's manor
Two men-at-arms and Sep, the villager are casualties

Re: OOC Chat
Working on a character now - the deck of cards gave me a 9 of clubs, which I see is a freeman with an inherited ranged weapon, 1/2 starting silver and a horse. Do you want to assign me a ranged weapon?
Re: OOC Chat
Great! Horses are a scarce commodity.
Depends on your class...longbows are always nice...not good on horseback but have good range.
This weapon is non-magical but a prized possession used by your father and his father...
Game effect...using this weapon gives you a +1 to hit (non-magical)
If you are a freeman...perhaps you are a wandering citizen of Cormandy...pushed out of your home by something bad...or now that winter is abating, you have taken the chance to travel and find people, maybe resources were getting scarce?

There's sure to be a warhorse in your cards sometime soon!
Re: OOC Chat
There'd better! What kind of knight doesn't have a roaring steed to ride his lands?jcftao wrote:I guess he didn't eat his....Wouter wrote:Alexander looks up in envymerias wrote:...and a horse.
