Salty, pale & unsteady, fishes a few gold from his belt & hands them to Sxhmidt.
For your collection plate, Holy brother.
He side-eyes the RM before trying to covertly look up thr passage.

Hooray, Salty Lives!
Twig will let the skeleton alone, hoping it settles down and doesn't tear his net. Perhaps his master will call him back and Twig can remove the net. Either way, Twig will make sure his dagger still has a good coating of poison on the blade, conceal it, and join the rest of the group.

[d20=14, d6=4] The skeleton continues to struggle under the net, to no avail.jcftao wrote: ↑Mon Mar 25, 2024 2:24 pmHooray, Salty Lives!

"Well, your man there drew his bow, I was just protecting myself after I tried to talk to you. When one of my men messes up like that, I kill them," robed man says. "Do you want me to kill him for you? Well no matter, I can release the spell. I need to get back to my temple, anyway. Do you want to see the temple? I have some blood wine we can share."greyarea wrote: ↑Sat Mar 23, 2024 10:16 pmUzmatazz says, Well, I suppose I should be insulted that you don’t remember me, your old friend, if you have so few. My companions back there won’t hurt you and we’ll lay off your walking bones as well. Release your spell and let’s chat.
So tell me, why did you attack us on sight? Are you protecting something down here?
Robed man mutters a few words. Berthold and Heimer find they can move again.
Robed man glances down the tunnel. "Tell your seedy man there to get his net off of my servant, I'll get him back here."
The east-west tunnel is dimly lit by torches in this area. To the west, it turns north. To the east, there is a door and a dead-end.JimboJimbo wrote: ↑Mon Mar 25, 2024 6:34 amSalty, pale & unsteady, fishes a few gold from his belt & hands them to Sxhmidt.

I was cheering a little myself when I rolled those!
Re: Delve #8
I said "a little" Let's not blow this out of proportion!
Re: Delve #8
Uzmatazz says, Yes, I’ll gladly go with you under your aegis to your temple. It’s been a while since I’ve seen such and drunken blood wine.
I say there you, Twig. Please let the skeleton out of your net. We’d hate to see that creature harmed. He then whispers, as he passes the assassin to follow the evil cleric: hide your blade but keep it ready. This priest will need a pall soon enough.

Berthold shakes his limbs as if they were asleep. Yes, let us all to this temple, now that we’re friends, he declares loudly.
He whispers to Heimer: I like this plot not one bit. Be prepared to strike when we are betrayed… or when our mage betrays that necromantic priest.
