Smoldering Wizard Blog Discussion
I noted that there are not topics in this forum. It also seems that non-staff cannot create new topics there. Is this a bug or a feature?
Re: Smoldering Wizard Blog Discussion
You've found my easter egg!
More seriously, I created that board a while ago after I tried to move my blog away from wordpress - it was meant to be a place where blog readers could comment on posts, since I had moved to a very lightweight blog platform that did not support comments. I had to go back to wordpress due to technical issues, and I never configured the board fully as far as posting permissions.
But - I will probably be moving my blog soon so it may get some use!

All told it averages a few per post, but of course some have none and some have 20 comments. I've fixed the permissions now, so they match the other sub-forums. Thanks for catching that!son of bear wrote: ↑Mon May 31, 2021 8:44 pmNothing wrong with enabling it to discuss your blog here, I haven't checked yet, but how much discussion to you get on wordpress?

Does it count views?
Sometimes I think I comment too much (ie: for no real reason) but I read for sure.

all good Ron! Yeah the blog gets about 50 unique views per day, and 100-200 total visits, that is to say, each visitor views 2-4 pages per visit on average. So it's not a big operation, but, I enjoy it!
