I could be persuaded to swap con and dex but if this one survives long enough it might be the better of the two.

Excellent! Don't forget to roll for your spellbook. With that INT, plus the spellbook and scrolls from the dungeon, you'll be flush with magic!

Is that just rolling a d10 7 times or do I need to do something else?

Not quite, your INT gives you a know spell of 85%, with a min/max of 7/all. So go through the list of 1st level spells in order, and roll d% to know each. At the end, if you don't have 7, start over until you hit 7. You also might end up with all of them, which is fine, but that list is your 1st level spellbook.

OR if you are lazy like me, Chris Gonnerman has created a spellbook generator for Iron Falcon that will give you almost identical results, but quickly :lol: . The only difference I could see at 1st level is that IF has Ventriloquism as a spell, while S&W does not. Everything else is the same, including the INT table (and the spellbook you found in the dungeon already has ventriloquism in it, so no biggie).
