eely

This one can't accessorise for toffe. Rags don't go with jewels. Let's help him out.

Holding his knife over the mummy's eye socket, Salty makes like Indiana Jones for the crown.

Cedric will reverse his sword, ready to stab the mummy in its heart as he reaches for the jeweled bracers...

[d10 = 4, so no eels again this turn]

Cedric and Salty grab the bracers and crown, respectively, and at almost the same moment a dark shadow rises from the mummy corpse!

[Surprise d6=4, so no surprise]

"A curse from the halls of the dead to any who plunder the tomb of the great Qwerkin", a ghostly voice intones as the shadow moves back down towards the plundering duo.

You both notice that the shadow thing passed up from the corpse and through your blades as if they were not there.

[DEX of the shadow-thing, 3d6=10]

Order of actions: Cedric, Salty, Berthold, Heimer, Suspos, Shadow-thing (simultaneous with suspos), Schmidt

Berthold tries his sword on the thing. For the record, I didn’t plunder anything this time! he shouts.

Cedric stabs at the ghastly visitor with his sword! "Back to hell, you insufferable shade!"

Easy there, your Royal Shortness, Salty splutters, we just want to return your shiny, shiny loot to your people,
rather than have it nabbed by kobold. We're not stealing, We're repatriating . We're more like the Br'ish Museum than dirty tomb raiders!

Apologies was away for my annual cigars and whisky weekend with my friends from HS/MS :)
Also only just got the email notifcations :/

"Begone and cower before the power of the holy and lawful gods creature of chaos!" Schmidt brandishes both holy symbols of the gods as he says! Luckily they are hanging around his neck, so he can drop them for the scroll next!

Heimer doesn't have many options, so he'll ensure his lantern is at full blast brightness, in case that holds the shadow at bay.
