Would you two get back up here?! We'll attack them from the top of the steps with sword and flaming oil!

I told you they'd hear your flabby thighs rubbing together. Would it kill you to do some liunges? Salty batks, snapping off a shot at the zombogre as he backs toward the stairs.

Hugging the right wall, to allow his partymates to (hopefully) run past him, Schmidt brandishes both of his holy symbols and (upon sighting any undead) yells: Flee before the power of LAW, foul undead things of Chaos!

So as I am reading the turning rules, you have to target a particular type of undead. I would say that means you can try to turn the zombie ogre first, and the skeletons the round after that. Or vice-versa? Let me know what order you want.

As long as there's no "one failed turn and you're done" rule, I'd like to attempt the big 'un first.

DEX for the ogre and skeletons is 13. So order after Salty's and Berthod's initial attacks will be Cedric, then the monsters simultaneous with Berthod and Salty, followed by Suspos, Heimer and Schmidt.

Berthod engages with the skeletons to the south and single-handedly destroys one of them (literally since he is holding a lantern).

Salty's crossbow bolt files wide, past the ogre zombie, and Salty backs away up the stairs as Schmidt runs past him down the stairs.

Schmidt is able to run to the bottom of the stairs (20' move in plate) which is far enough for him to attempt to turn the Ogre zombie, but in initiative order. Before I do the next round, what do Cedric and Heimer want to do? They can move 20' which would put them just at the bottom of the stairs with Schmidt, so one of them could pick a target for melee from there.

Status:

One skeleton and the zombie ogre remain.

Actions?

Code: Select all

+-----------+---------+
|Name |HP |
+-----------+---------+
|Salty |5/5 |
+-----------+---------+
|Schmidt |14/14 |
+-----------+---------+
|Cedric |13/13 |
+-----------+---------+
|Berthod |13/13 |
+-----------+---------+
|Suspos |5/5 |
+-----------+---------+
|Heimer |6/6 |
+-----------+---------+
Mechanics:

Pre-round 1:
Salty crossbow vs. zombie ogre: d20+2=7 MISS
Berthod vs. skeleton: d20+2=20 HIT for d8=6 dmg skeleton #1 is destroyed!

Is turning a line of sight or range? This should be an interesting round.
